The breaking point

When you reach the breaking point, it's there that you separate yourself from the majority business owner. When you reach that point, you'll have to choose to change things or quit. Most will quit, because they think that it's the best things to do.

When you reach a breaking point, it means that you haven't been open enough to what's happening in your business to see it coming. And if you did see it coming, then you didn't take action to change what need to be change.

Sometimes, you see that it's not working, but you don't see what you should change. There's no shame in asking someone else what he think about your business and what you should do to make it better. Always choose someone that is inspiring your with his or her success. Never go to someone that has no idea how a business should go. The best would be to have a partner that has something to get if your business grow. That person would have something to gain from your success. Even if it's only 1% of the money you'll make, with an healthy business.

Stay away from people that have nothing to loose by giving you their opinion. And more, when they have something to gain from your failure.

The breaking point should never be the end of your business. It should be a step into making it better.

When can you say it's enough?

When can you say it's enough?

This is a hard question. I'm going to talk about business, but this go to a lot of subject.

OK, you started a business and you wonder what you should expect to get back. There's a lot of things that would need to be addresses here. And I'm going to talk about a few ones only.

- In reality, most business owner will say that you can expect to make a profit after a few years. I would say that it's all about how long you can keep it working without taking much out of it. How long can you invest most of the money you get from your business without living on the street.
- How much does your business cost you? How much are your ready to risk into a business? You should never go over what you can afford to loose. Even if it's 5$, you should not invest it if you can't loose it.
- Why are you into building a business? Is this a second income? Would you like this to become your first income? Are you in a situation where you don't have anything coming in anymore and want to invest all your time and money (left) into this new business? If you're in the third situation, you should think really hard about this.

There's a lot of money to be made on the internet, but to become a major earner you'll have to become a top marketer. Becoming a top marketer is a long time work. You have to invest lots of time and energy. Get your self out there. Build your reputation. Build your contact and grow your branding. This is hard work and there's also a lot of things you need to learn. You'll make mistake and need to adjust on a daily basis.

Reaching the enough is different for each of us. My enough is not yours. And you should know that the difference between someone who's getting the big buck and someone who's only getting the little one is all about consistence and doing more then the average. The more you do, the better you get. The better you get, the more result you get. The more result you get, the more money you'll make. There's no short cut. It can be done in a short time, but it would need to become a 18hrs / day investment.

A good movie that goes along with this.

I'm too old to have a business... Really?

Right now, I'm reading a very good book about business. The toilet paper entrepreneur by Mike Michalowicz.

He's talking about the reason that are used to not build a business.

Today, I'll talk about one of those.

- "I'm too old to start a company"

So what are you going to do about it? Wait until you are younger? There is no time like the present. Life has yet to offer a rewind or a redo. Don't live with regrets. Get started now, regardless of your age. The self discovery process you will go through creating your new company is well worth it. Plus you can leave a little inheritance to the next generation.

That's a reason that many are using. I think that when you use this reason, you set yourself on a path to death. We all end up dead someday, but some are so focus on it that they forget to live what time they have left.

The economy is not strong enough

Right now, I'm reading a very good book about business. The toilet paper entrepreneur by Mike Michalowicz.

He's talking about the reason that used to not build a business.

Today, I'll talk about one of those.

- "The economy is not strong enough to start a business"

Everyone is experiencing the same economy as you are, so you are on equal footing. A weak economy is like a forest fire; it kills off many of the plants, but the seeds that take hold now have the most room to grow as the forest comes back to life. A weak economy is often the best time to start.

The daily news likes to promote the bad economy. But usually, when they don't talk about it, it's because things a going up. The news don't talk about economy everyday. If you can, take a pad and wrote each day if the news have been talking about the economy. Else then the ups and down of the NASDAQ, they don't talk much about it. And you'll find out that on average of 30 days, you'll get 5 to 10 days max with negative info on economy. So, the reality is that 20 days out of the 30 are doing great.

And one more thing, if you look at people who are struggling to make it to the end of the month. You end up thinking and living the same things. You need to look at people that are making it. You need to follow people that are living the kind of life that you want to live. Listen to people that are making what you want to make.

There's no better day to start your business then today!

Invincible?

Last night, I saw the movie "Invincible with Mark Wahlberg". It was a great movie, I ended up motivated and ready to build my business after it.

Many people are saying that we can choose to listen to what bring energy to us. And I didn't believe it. Now, I can say that it's all true. We do have the power to choose in which mental state we will be. When we choose to listen to a positive movies that can bring us energy and momentum, then that's what we get.

We do have that power. So, I have created a short list of movies that can help you build up your spirit.

Jerry Maguire
Rudy
Rocky
Gandhi
Gladiator
The Opus
Mr. Holland's Opus
The Secret
What the Bleep do we know?

I'll keep on posting movies, music and books that can help you build up your energy and motivation.

You can choose to build your motivation. Make your own test.

Are you ready to "Do the Do"?

What is your driving goal? You should have something clear in mind. The best would be to put it on the wall. On as many walls as you can so you'll always have it in your faces.

Why should you be clear about it? Because, the more you're clear, the more you'll know why you're working to get it. The more you have it in your face, the more you'll see all the time you're wasting not working to reach that goal. Set your goal on the wall just up over your television. Then try to listen to 6 hours of tv without feeling guilty.

Your goal is your drive. Your drive to make it happen.

Nothing happen without the work that goes with it. And you'll need a lot of drive to "Do the Do". This is how I name the job that needs to be done to get there. To get to where I want to be.

Are you ready to "Do the Do"?

Keep it up!

This section is all about staying motivated. Few can stay motivated without any help from outside. The reality is that most will need some tools to keep it up.

And it’s OK. I need my boost at least once a day. It helps me to keep my motivation up. So I can do what needs to be done.

When you feel the rush of energy buzzing in you; when you feel the need to do what needs to be done; when you get so excited that you just can stay inactive, that’s when you need to work on your business. Contact in person, by email, phone, Skype or anything that you can use to reach your team on those high moments usually transmit that high energy to all the ones who will be in touch with you.

You are more then a sponsor, you’re a motivating source. Take all the time you need to get that rush of energy. Some will take hours and others minutes. Its OK, we’re all different. Then share it with your team.

High energy = High thoughts = No fear

What keeps us from doing what needs to be done in order to succeed? The answer is “Fear”. The more motivated you’ll be, the less fear you’ll feel and the more success you’ll get.

Are you out there?

Today, Jon Olson was talking about being out there on TELive. Build your reputation before anything. Become someone interesting, build relation with others. Become someone that has meaning for others.

In reality, this will take some time and a lot of work. You have to be true to yourself. You have to give value to others in what you give on the web. Did you read my post about "Giving is the real way to Love"? You should do it. :)

I know that some people are talking about blogging, that you can make a lot of money with that. In reality, you should not do it if you don't like to write. The essence of a blog is writing. It's that simple, if you don't like to write, don't open a blog. And opening a blog is a statement that you make to yourself, you take the job of writing every day for 10 to 15 years.

Last night, I was random surfing on blogger. 85% of the blog I visited had it's last post more then 6 month ago. The look of most of them were great. Much better then mine. But, if you only have 2 to 3 posts in the 1 year that blog has been online, this would mean that your blog is considered dead. With a dead blog, you're building a negative reputation for yourself. You need to write at least 4 times a week. The best would be every day.

The difference between the peoples who are making it on the internet and the ones who don't, it's just the work and the focus they put in it. Be out there and build your good reputation. Then, people will come to you and ask how you make money on the internet. Become an expert and make money.

Do you have a leverage?

Money as time leverage

When you’ll start to make some money, you’ll have two options. Spend it into your personal desire or invest it to expand your business and make even more. If you can delay your dream and build your business first, then your dream will become even more special.

Cash flow makes your business grow, and like anything worth doing; it will take a little time, and a little money with a healthy dose of patience.

Money is the leverage – Each day your leverage will grow.

Bottom line... if you are willing to invest in your team by giving them gentle reminders to promote. They will see their income grow and yours will also grow… and then the sky is really the limit for you.

It's all up to you.

How to Multiply yourself

Multiply your work time

You can do so much work by yourself. Selling your time for money has a limit.

Most people don’t want to enter the world of business because they think it’s too much trouble. They want the simple life of letting someone else taking all the risk.

You’re not one of those people. You're reading this.

So, how can you make more money with the time you have?

By using the concept of leverage.

One of the best example is the big yellow M. At first, there was one restaurant, and then they multiplied their income without changing the concept. They helped others becoming rich, and in the process they become rich.

Today, you know how successful they are, but when they started they had to convince a lot of people that it was a great idea.

The top businesses on the internet are using the concept of leverage.

You’ll create leverage by finding people that are motivated to create a second income. And help them building that second income. As they become successful, so will you.

You bring two things on the table for your new associate.

- You’ll provide the opportunity.
- You’ll provide the support.

When someone starts a new business, they’ll find themselves in front of the critics of all their families and friends. And most will quit if they don’t have the support needed to stay focused on their goal. This is where your support is mostly needed. Helping your associate to stay focuses on their goal and dream.

Your associate will not work for you, they’ll work for themselves. You’ll benefit from their success and they’ll benefit from your support. At some extent, you’ll work for them.

In time, you’ll end up with a team of associate as motivated as you and the money will flow in.

You can still make a lot of money alone, but with a motivated team there’s no limit.

Trying To Get In Bed With Me, Without Wining & Dining Me First...

Are you getting Sales Pitch from people that you don't know on Facebook, Tweeter or any other social network?

Most of us will get mad at those. Banning or deleting that contact is what most will do. I understand. I did the same a few times. But...

What if?

I haven’t done it yet, but I was thinking about doing it…

What if? We would try to get those people back into the real road to success? What I mean, instead of flushing them, why not do our best to start an exchange of idea and find out what they’re looking for on the internet. Why they’re promoting some junk? Most of those people are like us and they just need to get back on the right track. Maybe they need help!

It was just a little What if. :)

I would like to find a way to reverse this. :)

No time to build a business...

A lot of people will say: “I don’t have the time!”

Believe me, I can understand; I was there too.

I was working on a 9 to 5 job and just didn’t have the time to work another 1 to 2 hrs more. My social life was taking all I had left. At that time, it was “OK” with me. But I was going nowhere. I had big dream. I had big hope in my future. I was reading a lot about getting what I wanted. But I was doing nothing. I didn’t had the time.

I was stuck until I realize “I'll have to do it”, because nobody would do it for me. There’s no secret path to wealth. There’s no easy way to become rich. What ever you want, you’ll have to act to get it. No ones can do it for you.

Here‘s one thing I know to be true: If you have a strong enough desire to do something … anything … you will find the time.

There’s one thing you must ask yourself right now. “How bad do you want it?”

Write what you want on a piece of paper and pin it where you can see it. Every day, take 30 seconds to feel it.

Can you feel how it will be when you’ll pay for all your bills and still have a lot of money to use?

Can you feel how it will be when you’ll shop without reserve?

Can you feel how it will be when you drive that new car?

Can you feel how it will be when you’ll enter that new house?

What’s your financial independence worth to you?

I would recommend The Safe Road Plan to you. This plan is a free tools because I can see far ahead. Can you do the same and invest now and look far ahead for the return?

How much traffic do you get?

Serious seller or not?

Don't deny the fact, if you're an affiliate to a product, you're selling that product. So you're a seller. Most of us don't have a product to sell, we only sell the product of someone else and make money with our commissions.

It's ok to do so. I do it myself.

If you're only trying to sell, then you should find yourself a job. You'll never make money if you only try to make a sell. You have to give it all and make the sales. It's only a little part of the internet affiliate that are really making money. They give their best to make it. In fact, they give more then anyone to get to the top.

The top promoter on most of the large marketing program are also the ones who makes money. The more you are out there and the more you'll earn.

Even if what you're selling is junk, you'll find buyers if you get enough people to see your ad.

Then, when you have the traffic, it's all about the quality of your ad, the quality of the product, your personal branding and the quality of the people that you bring to your ad.

The first step is to promote everyday. Even if it's an hour, it's an hour more to your advertising. You have to realize that the top are investing much more then just one hour. If you want to be among them, then you'll have to do much more.

Time spent listening to TV

How much time do you spend with your TV?

When you look at the life of rich people, how much time did they spent listening to their TV?

The following breakdown lists the average number of hours that Americans spent watching television in 2007:
•    Men = 4hrs 35mins / day
•    Women = 5hrs 14mins / day
•    Teens = 3hrs 21mins / day
•    Children = 3hrs 25mins / day

All the time that you spend with your TV is bringing how much wealth in your life?

Your TV is only a tool providing entertainment. It’s all up to you to choose how much time you want to spend with it. Be a better picker, choose to listen only to shows that really interest you and use the rest of the time to build your business.

In the end, it’s all up to you.

Earning the real money on the internet

Work Ethic

You must have a good work ethic or you will fail to earn the real money.

There’s no “Free Lunch” when you want to build a home business.

There's so many “Get Rich Quick Scam” out there. Every time someone comes to me with the new one, I ask myself how much time before that person realize that he isn’t going to make a penny out of it. I’m sorry when I saw someone quitting building a business online. There’s a way to build a business online.

The fact is: most people will fail to build an online business because they don’t put the work needed. The minimum time to invest in your business is 2 hrs a day.

Your work ethic will determine your success.

You can still build an online business with less then 2 hours a day. But you’ll get less results and it will take a lot more time to reach a profit level.

The success always comes to the ones who deserve it. You have to deserve if you want to have it.

Are you taking action?

When a sparkle hit you.

We all get those strange idea coming at random moments. At first, we think it's a great idea and our first reaction is to want to act on that idea. But most won't do anything. Not because the idea isn't good but because we're scare of acting on it.

Then we create some very good reason to not doing it. And as time goes by, we end up thinking it was a stupid idea. Sooner or later, we come across our idea or something close to it that has been developed by someone else. And we ask our self “What if?”.

“Money like speed.”
  • Joe Vitale

I like this quotes from Joe. It's all about the sparkle. It you act on it or not is all about your fear. If it's not you that is taking action, then it'll be someone else.

Will you let someone else having success with an idea that you got?

And I'm not talking about someone steeling the idea from another. If you can think about it, someone else can too. So you can't never know if you're the first one to have that idea. And if you don't act, you can't never know if someone else did or will until it's too late.

When you take action, you never know if you'll succeed or not. But if you don't take action, you're sure to fail.

Downline Builder

Downline Builder

One of the way to make money on the internet is to build a downline. Most people don't realize how much work is required to get to the point of making money.

First of all, let's go into some sad truth. Most people will never upgrade in a free program. It's sad, but it's true. So, to make money you'll have to refer a lot of people. And not only that, but you'll have to get enough upgraded downline to reach the pay out minimum. Most will set it at $10.00, but some set it lower.

So, if you want to make money with downline in free program, you'll have to find a lot of people. And sadly, most will quit before getting their first pay out. When you quit with money still in your account, it's like if your giving that money to the owner of the program. That money is lost to you.

There's a lot of program that are Downline Builder only. They offer you to build your downline using their program. They choose what program you can build your downline in. Some even choose the best one (using their own method of analytic) and they offer you to build a downline in those only. I tried a lot of those. Even got a few ones that I upgraded into. And it didn't work much.

What I like to do now, is fill the donwline builder into program that are not a downline builder at first. As you can see a lot of Traffic Exchange do have a downline builder. I fill the downline builder in all the ones that I use the most and the ones that I'm upgraded with. Then, I go to the rest and fill the downline builder in them too. It's a lot of work, but I do beleive that I can be good. Because, you could get downline in lots of program for free. You just have to fill in your affiliate id.

To help me, I have created a notepad list of all the program I'm using with the affiliate link. And I get a new one, I ad it to the list. When I'm filling a downline builder, it's really fast as I don't have to log in all those program to get my referral id.

I would recommend first to use the downline builder of program that you are upgraded in. Then you can expand to all the program you're using.

Why do you blog?

Let's talk about blog

Blog is a good way to start a conversation with people. It's a great way to set your mind on fire and think about what you're doing in your life. You can use it to pitch a business, but it would be even better to use it to pitch you. Get people to know you, what you stand for and what you think.

I see so many blog that are only large banner promoter. With some text telling how they think this program or that program is great. No idea, no thinking, no mind fuel to get there. I'm not saying that's a bad way to use blog, because there's new blog like those going out everyday. So, if people still do it, it must bring some business.

Myself, I like to light up the brain in the people that takes the time to read what I wrote. In some way, it help me to do this. I put into word what I have been thinking for a long time. And doing so, help me to go further into it. I just hope that it will do the same with every people that are reading it.

My post are not made to convince anyone. That's not what I want with my blog.

I just hope that you'll like my blog and come back to it. :)

Loving is giving.

Let's talk about giving.

This is what I believe. Giving is the one true way to love. And I mean, really giving. Some of you will ask me what do I mean with “Really Giving”.

Really Giving is giving without any hope to get. When you give with the idea that you'll get something in it, then you're not really giving. You need to give because you feel good in doing so. Do it to help and love.

Some people give as a way to pay for bad things they have done. That's ain't the way to do it. You can give back what you have been given, not what you have taken. You should never take if you feel it's wrong to do so. As a simple rule, take when you know that it's what you deserve.

There's a big problem with people that don't have any idea what they deserve. No one can tell you what you deserve, you're the only one that can know that. And this isn't about an amount of money, it's all about how you feel with what you're doing. Someone could be very happy and have a wonderful life with a minimum wage job. And others could be feeling anger and rage all the time even if they're millionaire.

When you give, it's not the amount that counts, it's the act of it and the feeling you get doing so.

If I can give you one advice, is to Give! Even if you don't feel it at first, you'll have better chances to find the real power of giving by doing so. And do so as much as you feel like to.

Loving is giving.

The Sales Pitch

This is my first post on this blog. I use to write on another one in French (I was sharing some stories that I wrote). This is my first in English.

I would like this one to be an all in one blog. I'll talk about what comes to my mind in many subjects.

The first post will be about "The sales pitch".

Usually, when you do a pitch it's because you have something to sell. That's not true, we all do sales pitch. In fact, when you post a picture of your new car on your Facebook, then you are promoting that company and the model of that car. When you bring friends to a restaurant because you think it's the greatest one in town, you're doing a pitch for that restaurant.

We all do that without getting anything in return. So why do we feel so bad when we do a pitch on a product that is paying us? Because, we think that it's wrong. It's not wrong! Wake-up, as long as you really think that the product is great and that your client is getting a good value for their money, then you should be proud to pitch.

When can you tell you're at easy to pitch your product? When you can pitch it anywhere, anytime and to anyone. This is the hard part. Most of us on the internet are use to pitch to others on the internet, but when it comes to people that are not on the internet, it just don't work. Why is that? Because you choose to separate the internet and your daily life. You could do this because you think that people that are not on the internet can't understand what it is all about. Maybe it's because you're scare of what they would say. And it can also be that your product is a piece of junk. For those who sell junk, on line or off line. You can't get away with it, someday it will get back to you and you'll end up being the one to get the junk.

How many of you have made it clear to your family and friends that you were building a business on the internet? How many of you would have the guts to put a large tag on their car with the "www" address of their business?

Think about it. Are you really into building a business or are you only playing on the internet?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this post.
