You are in charge of
your life. You are in charge of how you react to what happens to you.
Most people don’t want
to face the reality. They prefer to complain and think that they had nothing to
do with what happened. They like to put it on someone else shoulders. But
doing that isn’t making them feel good. At first, letting someone else taking
charge of their life feels like they came back to childhood. The feeling is
good. But after a moment, it feels wrong. They know that they should be in
charge. If they
react like a child, how can they ever help a child? How can they even help
themselves?
If you don’t take
charge of your life, then you let someone else step in for you. How can they
know what you want? How can they choose what is best for you?
You are as happy as
you choose to be.
« Most folks are
as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
- Abraham Lincoln
