“I want to
know why the universe exists, why there is something greater than nothing.”
- Stephen
Hawking
What is your driving goal?
Do you have a driving goal?
No greatness can be achieve
without a driving goal behind.
Are you reaching for greatness?
“Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human
spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives
within each of us.”
- Wilma Rudolph
Driving goals can be made of
dreams. Most are.
“I have a motto on my bedroom wall: 'Obstacles are what you see when you
take your eye off the goal.' Giving up is not my style. I just want to do
something that's worthwhile.”
- Chris Burke
When things get tough,
having a great goal is the difference between giving up and keep going on. Too
many people choose their goal according to what others want and they end giving
up on them as soon as things get tougher then the drive to accomplish them.
A goal is for you first. It
can imply that it will include someone else, but it has to be a drive for you
to do it for that person. In fact, your goal should be to do it for that person
and not what you do.
A goal should be fix. You
can change the how, but the why should stand until you reach it.
The goal should be bigger
than the how.
“All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what
their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day
toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.”
- Brian Tracy
How can you reach anything
if you don’t know where you’re going?
