Taking the highway seams the best way to reach your goal. The only problem is the fact that you’re not alone and you may also not be the fastest. This would mean that the moment you reach it, you may find yourself with only bits of your goal.

Leaving the Highway can be seen as going outside the box. You choose to take a road that isn’t as used as the 4 lanes. It can be scary. You have to leave the safety of the box to walk an uncharted road.

The fact is that even if you think you’re the first to take a road, there’s a good possibility that someone else has taken it before. So, you should do some research about it. Maybe you could find a lot of good data that could help you in your quest. But, never take for granted that those data are good. They could be all wrong.

People tend to follow a trend. Most will do their best to stay on a well planned path. But if you choose to go for the highway, don’t expect too much. You’ll have to be a lot better than all the others on that road.

Going outside the main road is not for everyone. You have to be made of stone to take that road. It’s difficult and you could en up with nothing to build on. Starting from scratch is the hardest way to build a business. It’s not for everyone.

What ever you choose, you’ll have to work hard. Even the highway will ask a lot of work from you.

When we talk about rich people, we usually forget that they did it with a lot of people working for them. Yes, the ones that we never see on tv. The people working their part so the big company can make large profit.

If you are building a business with the help of associate, don't forget to celebrate with them all the success of the company. They are the ones working in the dark. Without them, success would not be the same.

When you have membership business, do something different for you members when your company reach new level of success. Give back to those who helped you to reach that level. Never forget that members are with you on their free will, and they can leave you as fast as they joined.

Success is never one thing, it's a mix of many things that have come together to make it work.

Online, people think that business is easy because the internet is all about connecting with others. But the truth is that it's even more difficult to associate with others. The best way to associate yourself with others has always been to meet and share. After some times, you could start a project and build something with others.

On the internet, you don't meet in person. There's always something between you and the others. And this can let people misleading you from their real intention. In others words, you can get screwed if you trust anyone. You still need to get to know the people you want to associate with. You have to learn who they really are before you give them your trust.

Without trust, you can't associate yourself with someone else. And trust is built with time and action.

I have been in a few team since I started my quest to earn a living from the internet. They all pitched me with the power of team. That in their team I would get more support. That they would help me to build my downline and even more lies that they promise me. None of those team did what they promise me. They all failed to deliver the goods. They took my money and left me out there at the end of a downline with no support.

I'm sorry, but teams are junk. None ever provided half of what they promise.

I would love to associate myself with other motivated business builder on the web. People that I could trust and that I would be proud to associate myself with them.

I still believe that we can build a business on the internet, but I know that it can get really hard to find the right people to associate with. There's so much junk out there.

Opinions are cheap...

Critics can be destructive...

Yes, you can learn from good critic, but you can also sink from a destructive one. Don't ever think that you can get away when you destroy someones else dreams. If you don't want to help someone, don't give them your opinion. It's better to say that you don't know if you can give your opinion on it.

Don't play the know all. You don't know everything. Maybe you just can't see what this project can become. Maybe you just don't have the capacity to dream what this project could become. Anyway, you should never give a bad opinion when you don't have anything to loose from it. This means, that when you get a bad opinion from someone, ask yourself if that person has anything to loose from it. If that person has nothing to loose, don't listen to what they have to say.

Never take an opinion that has nothing to do with your business. You'll waste your time.

I know some people think that it's great to listen to what other has to say about their business. But in reality, if those person are not clients or associate, their opinion isn't worth much. Yes, you could be facing a powerful person with lots of contacts. Just take their opinion and find the best way to use it. But never use them as they are given to you, if that person doesn't have anything to loose by giving it to you.

Opinions are complicated. They can be altered by a lot of things. If you can't find what they can provide your business, put them aside. You'll find later what you could do with them.

When you improve your business, start with the faster ones that will have the lower cost. Then, go with the next one and so one. Never start improvement that will not provide a fast result.

We don't associate with business, we associate ourselves with people. Yes, we all know the brand of large company. But have you noticed that every advertising from those big players have people in it. Smiling people associated with the product. You can't build a business without have someone taking the lead in branding the company.

Lot's of people on the internet are using drawing and things like that to brand themselves with their business. And that is just wrong. You can't become a business owner and stay hidden. You have to make a choice...  To be or not to be in business.

Advertising an affiliate link could bring you some success. But in the end, you would have made much more if you would have put yourself out there.

People join people, not business.

We all do the same. We give our future to someone else in hope that they'll bring it up as you want. Even the best intention leaders can't bring you what you want if you don't act on it yourself.

Don't follow a leader if he doesn't have your goal on his path. Set your goal and then if you cross path with someone who's going the same way, why do a part of the trip with him or her. You can associate yourself with others, as long as they're going the same way as you.

Choose wisely your friendship. They're the people who's going to influence your thinking. Your emotion are linked to the people that are around you. If you choose people that are happy most of the time, then it will help you to be happy most of the time. If you choose people that are positive most of the time, then it will help you to be positive most of the time. And the list goes on like that...

Don't choose your friends for the wrong reason. In the past, I chose to associate myself with people that were having more problem then me. I feeling good because I was saying to myself that I had a good life in comparison to them. But in reality, it stopped me from getting a better life. Associate yourself with people that are having a better life then yours. It will motivate you to move up.
