Where to promote your Blog!

After we crafted a post, we want people to read them. And most of us don't have a budget to pay to get people in front of our blog.

I'll share with you some of my tools to bring real people in front of my blog post.

My first tool is Sweeva:

- It's free to use.
- You can have real people in front of your post for 15 to 60 seconds.
- You can choose when you want your post to be viewed.
- People can leave you comments on your post directly on Sweeva.

The second tool I would like to share with you is Blog Clicker

- It's free to use.
- It's a te for blog only.

Have fun sharing your blog with the world.

Blog story!

Having a blog is not a walk in the park. You have to be ready to give more then just a piece of yourself. Having a blog is being ready to open your heart and put it into words.

“Never give up. And most importantly, be true to yourself. Write from your heart, in your own voice, and about what you believe in.”
 - Louise Brown

Don’t treat your blog as an advertising platform. It can provide advertising, but it must have content before you put any ads in there. With a blog, content isn't about fact, it’s about the words that you wrote. Yes, it’s simple, wrote what you think about. Put your soul in each and every post.

“I think there's plenty of room for blogs that exist to pay the blogger, or blogs that exist to turn a profit. That's just not the kind of blog I'm writing, and I'm not the kind of blogger that could do that.”
 - Seth Godin

Earning from a blog can be done, but if you write a blog to earn a living then you’ll have to find a way to be creative and promote it all around. You have to become a reference in what you write and talk about.

“I'm not sure blogs are necessarily the best place to get a pulse on anything. People want to blog for a variety of reasons, and that may or may not be representative.”
 - Steve Ballmer

When you want to get a pulse on a subject, you have to take in as many sources as you can about it. Representative or not, each blog talking about the subject you’re interested in can bring you useful information.

Myself, I like to write timeless info. I like to write without any time label. I like to write without any direct link to what is happening in the world at that moment. I like to write about a subject in a way that would be interesting in 5 or 10 years from the moment of post.

No one can become successful with a boring blog. You have to deliver good stuff if you ever want to have any success with your blog. You can fool people with one or two post, but in the long term you’ll have to prove your creativity. Don’t believe that you can hide behind some pre-created post and build an audience.

Build your blog with your own stuff. Don’t pay someone else to write your post.

Positively positive!

Complaining about how hard your life is?

"If you are complaining about things in your life, you are on the complaining frequency, and you are not in a position to attract what you want. Get on to the frequency of good with your thoughts and words. Firstly you will feel good, and secondly you will be on the frequency of receiving more good."
- Rhonda Byrne

Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want. Creation goes where energy flows. If you spend energy on what you don't want, then you'll get more of it.

This concept is frustrating to all of us. We have been raised to complain about what we don't like. It's like the manifestation against police brutality in Montreal (every year). People manifesting against violence trowing rocks in the windows of business on the street because they want to get notice by the media. Violence to manifest against violence will bring more violence.

If you focus your energy and action on something that you don't want, you'll get more of it.

First thing you have to do is to start to use positive sentences. What ever you want, ask for it with a positive sentence. Then start to work on that positive idea so you'll get what you want.

Negative will bring more of what you don't like. Stay away from negativity.

Positively smile today!

Free way to bring traffic to your business!

On line or off line business needs customers. If you open a shop far from the main street, you'll have to advertise so people know you exist. It's the same for on line, when you start a business will a low budget, you need to advertise a lot because you can't afford to buy Google ads.

Here's some easy way to promote your business for free.

- Create a signature that you'll use with your e-mail, post in a group or any where you can put it. As long as you don't send empty post or e-mail, it will not be seen as spam.

- Comment on blog. Take the time to read and write a comment on blog that are popular. With your comment you can add the link to your business or blog. Write good comment. Try to say something interesting. Fast and easy.

- Posting a video on YouTube. Add your signature in the description of the video. You never know when one of your video could become viral. Better be prepare then sorry. Even if you only get 5 hits per week on your video, it's still 5 peoples that could become customer to your business.

- Social program. Register to all of them. If you can find them. As long as they are free, register and fill your info with links to your business. And try to come back to your account at least once a week.

- A lot of media website offer to leave a comment. Do it and leave your signature at the end.

Take a look at what you do in your free time. Every time you get out of your house, it's an opportunity to promote your business. Ads on your car, t-shirt, bags, baseball cap and everything on which you can put an ads is good. If you're a member of a club, try to sponsor activities so you can promote your business. Always have business cards on you. Have some flyers with you if people want to know more about your business. Be nice and open with people.

Truth?

When I write, I always do my best to give the best stuff I can.

I do my best to say what I think is true. I do my best to give all that I can to help others.

I don't have the truth, I don't think that anyone has it. The truth is different for each of us. It's all linked to our perception and our understanding. Each of us will perceive an idea in our own way. This doesn't mean that we're not talking of the same idea. We just understood it differently.

You get my truth in this blog. I follow my feelings and instinct to give you the best I can. Living is not a seal of truth, but it can help to be more close to it. I read a lot and I get most of my subject from reading. I add some of my own experience and put it all into a post. Sometimes I have a lot to say and sometimes a little less.

Maybe you agree with me or not. It's ok if you don't. I would really love to get your input on it.

Sharing ideas is one of the best way to build something great. :)

Legit income

Job with a twist for becoming a business. Yes, a lot of legit business on the web are also legit way to work for money.

It's all up to you to choose if you want to do the minimum and make what you can or give it all to make a lot more. There's many ways to make money on the web, and a lot of them are legit way to make money.

I have been thinking for a long time to build something that would have all the good ones
I found in all my years on the web. There's quite a few of them.

I could make a list here and hope that some of you would join them. But I don't like that kind of blog.

So, I'm working on a ezine that would give you all my top program and all the new ones I'm testing. It's still in the making, but you can join right now if you want.

Easy Pennies

I also like to use the PTC Professor. But it's only about PTC and some TE for now. I hope that it will open to give me the chance to add some of my own program.

PTC Professor

Stay tune, I'll get back to you when I'll start my ezine. :)

Whiners....

The whining...

Are you a whiner? Or maybe you have problem with whiner around you?

Whining is an energy drain. No one really want to live around whiner. When it's a customer, it's even difficult. You have to see if this is valuable whining and search why they're whining. Some people are whining because of something that has no relation with the business in which they're whining. Those people can waste a lot of customer support.

You can see a lot of people whining in chat, in forum or in blog. Sorry, but I don't like whiner. I will never waste my time reading someone whining when I see that it has no reason to do it. Usually, within the first fives lines I can see if this is justified.

Here's a book that could be interesting for someone who wants to climb the ladder of big companies. It was written for woman, but I'm sure it can be use by men too. :)

Stop whining and start winning by Molly Shepard and Jane Stimmler

100th Post today!!

Another step for me. 100th Post today!!!

This is great. I'm doing my best to make this blog a good place to go. My audience is growing on a day to day basis. I'm happy with the results I get.

One hundred post is half a book. I would live to make my 300th Post before the end of 2013 (and my book will be ready).

All of you who are following me, thanks a lot. You are the reason I'm doing this.

We can reach our goals, we just have to do some of it everyday. Remember, after 27 days it will be a habit. Just do it!!!

Faster than light...

Faster and faster...

Everything needs to be faster and faster in our time. Why?

We all think that the first one to bring a program on the internet will grab the market and makes billions. That's not true. Look around and you'll see that the top money maker on the web are all programs that has come to do something better. Yes, simply better. Google was not the first search engine. Facebook was not the first social program. Amazon was not the first book store on the internet. They're the best because they took something and made it better.

Instead of publishing a program that is not ready, you should take more time to make it the best you can. Don't take too long, but take the time needed to make it great.

Over working a program will build a spiral of new stuff to add. You should write down all those new idea and set them to be added later. You should work on your program to make it great.

Let's talk about the client...

We're all client of something on the internet. We pay for services and we want to get the best. Most of us understand that some problem need time to be resolved. But there's people who don't understand this. They want it all, and they want it now. If you don't deliver, they get really angry. Some of them are angry from the start because they think that you're trying to rip them off.

On the internet, we use text to communicate. This means that we all need to learn some of the basic social rules. First, when you write a text you need to think like the person who's going to read it. Sub jokes should never find their way in your text. Be polite and nice in your letter. Use smileys to make your text even more friendly. Never use an aggressive tone.

What ever you do, remember that you are making your reputation with everything you write on the internet. You never know when you'll need help from the person you just attacked on a chat.

Deserted blog on the web...

Blogging....

It's open to all, but only a few will find the drive to really make a good one. Sorry, but most Blog are empty, boring or are just used as a cheap way to promote something (as a splash or a web page).

I see so many empty blog that are polluting the web. Pages and pages of stuff that have not been updated in years. What a mess.

If you think that you can take care of a blog, then do it. But if you don't have the energy to write a few pages a week, then don't. It's the simple truth.

You can have guest on your blog, it's great. As long as you are writing more then your guest...  It could be a good idea to meditate on the reason why you have a blog. Maybe, the blog is not in your goal anymore. And if so, you should really think about finding a way to get some new content with the help of guest writers.

I saw people spending money on blog that are filled by paid writer. You should spend your money on a book instead of a blog. Because a book can be sold for years and years. A blog when it's becoming outdated, it isn't worth as much.

A blog is something for people who likes to write. It's simple, if you don't like to write then don't open a blog.

Yes, it's very nice to have a private domain and your blog on it. It looks professional. But if you don't fill it with good stuff, you'll be throwing money by the window. You should start with a free blog first. Then after a year, if you think that you can keep it fresh and up to date go for your own domain.

I remember when the first blog were popping on the web. It was all about people who were writing about their life. Simple day to day stuff. The ones who were good enough to write one post a day rapidly became stars. Now, people are opening a blog just because they eared that they could make money with it. Yes you can make money with a blog, but you need to have a great blog with a lot of traffic. And you need to come out of the sea of blogs out there on the web.

Success coming

Be ready for success...

Are you ready for success? Do you really think that you made a special place in your life for success?

Success is like a new born baby, you need to prepare for it's coming. You need to set a special place for it in your life. You need to be happy because it's coming and everything will change in your life. Are you setting up for success? You should because if you don't, it's a statement that you don't believe in it's coming.

Hey, you'll tell me, what if it doesn't come to me? We'll, it's up to you. Will you quit because it didn't came at the moment you wanted it to come? Or will keep believe to it's coming.

The more energy you'll put into the coming of Success. The more real will it be in your life.

No one can make it for you! You have to do it for yourself!

And one more thing that you need to know before you start to set up a space in your life for success. Your success will be in what? What is the source of that success that you want? You need to be as specific as you can. It can be what ever you want. You just need to choose one thing and set yourself to have success in that.

If you have great idea to make the coming of success as real as it can be, send them to me and I'll make a post with your idea and a link for you.

What do you really want????

We choose what we want to put our focus on. We choose where we're heading when put our energy in our focus.

"Most people don't realize how much passion they put into what they don't want. When you speak to a friend and you tell them all about an "awful" situation, you are putting passion into what you don't want. When you react to an event negatively, with the response that it is "terrible", you are putting passion into what you don't want. You are a beautiful passionate being, so make sure you direct your passion wisely."
- Rhonda Byrne

If you choose to focus on what you don't like, then you'll get more of what you don't like. This has nothing to do with a magic thinking, it's just the plain facts. Even if you don't want to see it, you'll get what you focus on.

You are in charge. No ones can choose for you.

If you complain all the time, you'll get more reason to complain.

What is it that you really want? And I mean, REALLY WANT!

Take the time to write it down. Yes, write it down Right Now!

You'll need to focus on what you want. If you haven't done this before, it could take you a long time to make it a habits. So, every evening before you go to sleep and every morning when you wake up, read what you just wrote. Try to see in your head what you want. Feel good about it. And then go on with your day. Keep doing this each day, and I mean EACH DAY for 30 days. After those 30 days, you should have created a habits of doing this. And if you stop for one day, then you have to start again your 30 days from the day one. You can't create a habit if you're not doing this.

And I don't mean that you'll get what you want in 30 days, what I mean is that you'll have the habits of starting your day and ending it with good though about what you want. Those good though will change your mind set and help you to focus on what you want. And then, when your focus will be what you really want, that's when you'll get it.

This is not easy. It needs a lot of work.

Friends of CTP!

Click Track Profit is one of the greatest program out there to advertise your business. And one of the nice things included in CTP is the friends system and the profile page. It's also linked to chat and a lot of Traffic exchange. So, when you click on the image of someone presenting a splash page in a TE, you go directly to his or her profile page with CTP. That's really nice. You can leave a message on a profile that anyone can see and send private message.

When you surf and get badges, you can give some of them to your fiends.

One kind of badge is called Friendzy badges. Those badges cannot be taken for ourselves, we have to give them away.

To get those badges, you need to have the Friendzy card active in your goodies page with CTP.

When that card is active, then all your friends can give those badges to you. When your card is full (4 spot to fill) you win a spin on the gift wheel of CTP. One of the prize is on that wheel is to spin the money wheel where you can win up to 10$.

So, if you want to get your Friendzy card filled, you need to have friends. The more friends, the more cards you can fill in a day. Me, on my best day I got 2 Friendzy card filled. I have more then 800 friends right now in CTP.

This is not a way to make a living, but it's a lot of fun. I like to give badges even more then to get them. :)

If you need help and tips with CTP, I'll be happy to do my best.

Did you post today?

19 days with a post in a row. And 79 post in a little less then 3 months. That's great! I'm so happy! I just hope that you did enjoy most of them. :)

After all this time, I start to really enjoy this daily writing. I just feel better when I know that I did my post for the day. Habits a formed after 27 days, I'm on the right track.

I want to change the subject. I would to talk to you about Nerdbux.

This is a new Paid to Click that is rocking the market right now. It has been on line for a week and it has already reach the level of 5000 members. And this has been done without any promo from the owner. Those new members has been recruited by the early members.

If you want to jump on something that will rock the market like Clixsense and Neobux did in the past, then it's the right time to take your place in. Don't miss the boat!

Before I end this post, I would like to give you a little tips when you look at the "Ad Hits Profits" advertising. Some of you must have notice that this ad is taking a lot of time to load. On Paid to Click, it takes much more times then what it should take. So to counter that, I have a little tip for you. When the ad is loading, click with the right button of your mouse in the white section of the ad. You should see the command "Stop", click on it and the ad will stop loading and the timer for the Paid to Click will start. Using this tip, you wont spend too much time waiting for the ad to load and the timer to start. I think that webmaster should make sure that the page should not take that much time to load. If they don't do their job the right way, the page takes too long to load.

Fly.....

Every time I sit in front of my computer to write a post, I have to ask myself what will be the subject of that post. I could give up and do something else in hope that something will come up and give me an idea on what I should talk about. Yes, that would be what most are doing. I don't want to be most of the blogger. I want to be someone who's working hard every day and post something of value on my blog.

Yes, most of the time I don't have anything on my mind when I sit to write. I have to search. I visit blog, I read quotes, I listen to DVD and audio book. I go out there and search for something that will make my finger fly on the keyboard.

Today, I read this quote...

”Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
- Will Rogers

If you do nothing, nothing good is gonna happen with your business. You have to take action and prove to all that you are someone who can make it happen.

I think that you have to make the extra little involvement into what you want to get, to get it. Don't sit there hoping for good news. Make the news.

Do you have something to say?

When I don't have a lot of inspiration for my new post, I like to visit blog. Sometimes, I read a post that give me the drive to write my own post. But sometimes, I come across some very sad blog. There's too much blog that are just advertising board. I know, people want to promote and find new referral, but you do this at the expense of new follower and maybe referral on your blog. People join people, not business. If you build your reputation on good blog post, people will like you and join what you are promoting because it's you. So, if you get removed from the bookmarks because you only advertise on your blog, then it will be all your fault.

So, here's some blog that I like to read because they have something to say. :)

Entrepreneurship Blog by Mike Michalowicz. Mike has wrote two good books on building your own business. He's a straight talking guy that will always say what he thinks is the best. He post a lot, and on a lot of interesting subject. A must if you are into business.

Tom Wacker dot com by Tom Wacker. Tom have he's own way in presenting things. He wrote a lot and each of his post are filled with lots of great contents. I visit his blog many times a week, even if I'm not looking for a subject.

Seth's Blog by Seth Godin. Seth is working hard to write a post each day. Lot's of great stuff here.

Geri's thoughts by Geri Gerstner. Geri is working hard to make good post. And some of them are really good.

The Jon Olson Project by Jon Olson. This is the second blog by Jon. This one is more personal then the Hit Exchange News.

The Tim Linden Blog by Tim Linden. Tim talks about stuff from his business and what ever he want to. I like to read his blog.

Hit Exchange News by Jon Olson. Jon wrote some great post. Not very often, but really good in content.

I'm bringing nerdy back by Justin Ledvina. This blog is really good. Lot's of good stuff. But post are rare...

Force The Blog by Mike Allen's. Mike hasn't wrote a new post in more then a month. I miss his unique way to present idea. I miss your post Mike. :)

I read a lot of blog, but most of them are only advertising blog with no content.

Who are you?

People with people...

We don't associate with business, we associate ourselves with people. Yes, we all know the brand of large company. But have you noticed that every advertising from those big players have people in it. Smiling people associated with the product. You can't build a business without have someone taking the lead in branding the company.

Lot's of people on the internet are using drawing and things like that to brand themselves with their business. And that is just wrong. You can't become a business owner and stay hidden. You have to make a choice...  To be or not to be in business.

Advertising an affiliate link could bring you some success. But in the end, you would have made much more if you would have put yourself out there.

People join people, not business.

To be or not to be... branding

Branding...

You don't need to brand yourself to make a living online. You don't need branding to make money online. That's the simple truth.

But if you brand yourself, people will start to join what you promote because you promote it. It wont come around at first. Some will take years to build their brand, others will take months. But when your brand is becoming known, you need to make it a safe one. What does that mean: "If you promote something, your better be sure that it's a good one. Your name is associated with it."

Give good advices when asked for. Don't lie. Just tell the truth. And don't push a sale if the questions was not about your business. If your answer was good, they'll come back to join your business later.

Build your brand all the time. Each post on your blog, each post in the chat, each splash pages, each email and each promo should be good. Don't stay in the common, move into the special and uncommon. Get yourself seen and read.

This is a big job. You'll need to invest a lot of time into it. But in the end, you'll brand will make you a living.

Writers blank block

When you want to write, you need to set up some goals and habits to do the right things everyday. The top writer are doing it everyday. Most don't even take a day off. They write even if they don't feel like it.

The fear of the blank page. I do have it from time to time. I face my computer and nothing seams to come out. To fight this, I have a list of subject by my computer. I add new stuff as soon as I get idea on that list. Most of my post come from that list. Sometimes it's a quotes, other times it's a subject that I think I should talk about. My list is moving, because each time I use a subject I remove it from the list.

I also like to read others blog. There's a lot of good blog around the net. I just choose to read some of them that are inspiring me. And then, I write my own post about the same or near subject.

You can also find some good tips in those web sites...

Beat the blank page syndrome

Write to done

The Terror of the blank page

In reality, writing everyday is hard. And you should keep on fighting your blank page so you end up writing everyday. In the end, you'll write good stuff and some other not so good. It doesn't matter. The good stuff will always be what will stand out. And the not so good ones, will be left behind.
