Are you out there?

Today, Jon Olson was talking about being out there on TELive. Build your reputation before anything. Become someone interesting, build relation with others. Become someone that has meaning for others.

In reality, this will take some time and a lot of work. You have to be true to yourself. You have to give value to others in what you give on the web. Did you read my post about "Giving is the real way to Love"? You should do it. :)

I know that some people are talking about blogging, that you can make a lot of money with that. In reality, you should not do it if you don't like to write. The essence of a blog is writing. It's that simple, if you don't like to write, don't open a blog. And opening a blog is a statement that you make to yourself, you take the job of writing every day for 10 to 15 years.

Last night, I was random surfing on blogger. 85% of the blog I visited had it's last post more then 6 month ago. The look of most of them were great. Much better then mine. But, if you only have 2 to 3 posts in the 1 year that blog has been online, this would mean that your blog is considered dead. With a dead blog, you're building a negative reputation for yourself. You need to write at least 4 times a week. The best would be every day.

The difference between the peoples who are making it on the internet and the ones who don't, it's just the work and the focus they put in it. Be out there and build your good reputation. Then, people will come to you and ask how you make money on the internet. Become an expert and make money.
