Where to advertise part 1

Where do you advertise?

Part 1

Usually, most will tell you to start with your family and friends.

Me, I’m going to tell you to keep them for later. When you’ll have some results to show them, then you’ll find it easier to explain your internet business to them. And the good thing about waiting, is that you won’t feel their pressure. Most people don’t understand what it takes to build a business. In fact, if you never have been building a business, you can’t understand what it means.

It’s better for you to start advertising on the web. When you’ll have some result on the web, you won’t feel as bad if your family and friends don’t join with you.

You can find lots of links to great program according to each type of advertising on my yahoo group

Paid to click (PTC):
The concept of PTC is that you get paid a fixed amount to look at advertising for a fixed time. Those are great to promote. Most of them offer advertising for small price when you start and you can upgrade later to promote even more.

Web site:
Building your own web site to promote your business is a good idea. But it's a lot of work. You can use that web site to promote banner exchange and get banner credit to show your business banner.

Using your website to promote yourself is also a very good idea. You’ll gain a reputation that will help you to build your business.

In fact, getting your web site isn’t needed at first. If you don’t have a basic knowledge in HTML, then you’ll have to pay someone to build your web site. It’s expensive and it won’t bring you any income at first.

Ads board:
In those programs, you place an ad to promote your business. You’ll have to place hundreds of ads to get some good result. You can also use physical board around your town to promote your business. It’s cheap and could become a good way to link with other motivated people who would like to build their business with you.

You’ll have to come back and place a new ad on the same board each month.
